I'm getting ready for Kindergarten!
Matching and Shapes:
Boople's Colors - Click on the objects that match the color. There is some reading so a child will need and assistance. Put the Bubble puzzle together - Click and drag the pieces to put together the puzzle. Pieces expand to fit into the grid. Good for shape discrimination as well as clicking and dragging. Colors, Shapes and Number Matching - Barney Site - Pick the shape, or number, that matches the objects with which Barney is playing. I Spy Shapes - Find the shapes within the picture and click on them. Oddball - Click on the one that is different. Matching Game - (Fisher Price) Students click on the Little People Friends that don't match the other two. Matching Shapes - Click on the shape that is the same as the one on the left. Purpy's Shapes - Click on the shapes at the bottom of the page that match the highlighted shape. Also find shapes in pictures. Valentine's Day Puzzle - Oh no! Candy has fallen out of the box. Your job is to drag the pieces back into the proper place. Same and Different - Two cards are shown. If they are the same, then click the SNAP button. If they are different, do not click. Great activity to introduce same and different.
Numbers:
Connect the Dots (Dragon Tales) -click on numbers from 1 to 10 to complete a picture. Great to enhance counting skills. Count the Bananas - Count the banana peels and click on the correct numeral. May need an adults help. Glass Palace (with Curious George) - find where a number fits by cleaning off a dirty window. Greenelle's Numbers - click on the set that has the vocalized number. How many? - online game Matching Numbers - Click on the picture with the same number of items as the example on the left. one-to-one matching
Literacy:
Pre-School Coloring Pages - some of these are outline drawings to print and color, others are on-line coloring pages. Colors - Each color has its own separate interactive page for the children to click on the objects to learn to recognize colors. Shapes, letters and numbers are also available here. Listen and Learn English - Increase vocabulary with these basic concepts. Listen and match objects after learning their names. Great for ELL students! Rhyme Time - two lines are read, students click an object to hear the rhyming word at the end of line two. What's in the Bag? - Audio directions to listen to clues and then decide what is in the bag. ABC's - Click on the letter to hear its name. Lil' Fingers ABC's - Click on the letter to hear its name. Julia's Rainbow Corner
General Computer:

Feed the Monster - Click and drag the food to the monster so he can eat. Great for developing mouse skills. HeadSprouts Mousing Around Program - Listen to oral directions on how a mouse works and practice each skill. Magic Paint - Select the size of the brush and the color and draw a picture on the screen. Higher level mouse skills for click and drag.
Other:
Build a House - click and drag components into a picture. Lecky's Friends - Click on the body parts Sorting by Categories - Name items in various places and drag them into the box. Mouse skill of dragging items needed for this activity. Time - Fill in the numbers in order around the clock 1-12. A click and drag operation.Can use this activity to become familiar with the clock layout. What's Different? - Students look at two pictures and select what three things are different.
